Who We Help

We deliver the donated perishable food to local nonprofit agencies that feed our hungry neighbors, including food pantries, shelters, after-school programs, senior centers, transitional living facilities and more.

These perishable foods provide needed produce, protein and dairy to some of our community’s most challenged children, seniors and families. In turn, those agencies can use their funds toward other support services.

Request Food Donations

As our dollar and food donations continue to grow, we will add additional trucks to expand our free delivery service to more nonprofit partner organizations throughout the Greater Omaha area.

All 501 (c) (3) agencies can request future food donations from Saving Grace by completing the recipient application and returning it via fax, email, or mail. All Saving Grace contact information is on the application. Your application MUST be accompanied by a copy of your 501 (c) (3) letter. A Saving Grace representative will contact you and a site inspection will be scheduled to complete your application process.

Recipient Agency Testimonials

Our recipient agencies report that Saving Grace deliveries reduce annual food costs, allowing them to spend more of their budget on empowerment services and activities.

Mike Hornacek, Together

Together is extremely grateful and excited to have the opportunity to work with Saving Grace. Many organizations like Together that operate food pantries struggle to provide fresh and nutritious foods to our clients on a daily basis. When we do have it available it is due to last minute donations that are usually too large to distribute in an organized and resourceful manner and/or we are purchasing those foods at a high cost to the community. Due to this, families do not experience a consistent supply of fruits, vegetables, dairy, and grains being available to them. Through our partnership with Saving Grace we will gain a consistent supply of nutritious and fresh foods daily. In addition, their coordinated efforts allow us pantries to focus on what’s most important and that is serving those in need. In the past we would spend time procuring food through local markets, grocery stores, etc…, however, we were stepping on each other’s toes. This will provide a streamlined, cost effective, and non-duplicative way of securing food that was normally being thrown out to those families that need it.”

Carrie Walter, Catholic Charities

“Partnering with you has been a total blessing. As we strive to help families and seniors in need and help to restore their dignity, it is an absolute joy to give them options they would not otherwise have and let them have the ability to really do their own shopping vs. just being given food they may or may not use.”
