Together, we rescued food, fed families, and strengthened our community.
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue and Omaha Steaks partnered to deliver nourishment and hope across the Metro Omaha–Council Bluffs area. Together, we distributed full pallets of high-quality Omaha Steaks products at six partner locations, helping feed hundreds of families in need.
This special day wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible volunteers from Omaha Steaks, the staff and volunteers from our nonprofit partners, and the Saving Grace team. Your time, energy, and commitment ensured that neighbors across our community received nutritious protein and a reminder that they are cared for.
``People were so happy to receive this. We had wonderful feedback, and we look forward to doing it again. I heard from several people that they were surprised that an organization like Omaha Steaks was giving out the items distributed. One woman told me it had been a very, very long time since she could afford to eat a steak, and she was excited! I loved that the Omaha Steaks CEO was so involved in the process and interacted with our pantry guests. It was an amazing experience!``
